THE CELTIC CONNECTION

The Celtic Connection is one of Newfoundland's up and coming great bands of the future. Since the band formed in July 1992, they have traveled all over the Maritimes playing at different clubs and Festival. Celtic Connection is a four-member band, these member are as follows:

Scott Graham - Vocals and Guitar
Jennifer Trainor - Vocals and Guitar
Glen Harvey - Drums
Barry Kenny - Bass

THE IRISH DESCENDANTS

The Irish Descendants are a band that consists of five members and was formed in the year 1990. The five members of the band are as follows:

Con O'Brien - Lead Vocals and Guitar
Kelly Russell - Fiddle, Bouzouki, Concertina, Harp, Mandolin and Vocals
Paul "Boomer" Stomp - Drums Percussion, and Vocals
Byron Pardy - Bass Guitar, and Vocals
Mike Hanraham - Banjo, Bouzouki, Mandolin, Vocals

The Irish Descendants is one of Newfoundland's most famous bands of today, known throughout the whole world. Few of the songs that you may have heard by the group are:

KELLY RUSSELL & THE PLANKS

Kelly Russell and the Planks is one of today's traditional leading bands. There are four members to the band, the members are as follows:

Kelly Russell - Fibble, Whistle, and Concertina
Sean panting - Guitar and Vocals
Chris Batstone - Bass
Adam Staple - Drums

NEAL O'LEARY

Neal O'Leary is one of Newfoundland's up and rising singer and songwriter, Neal O'Leary has been singing on his own since he decided to leave the band "The O'Leary's and Michael Doyle" in the year 2000. Since leaving the band Neal O'Leary, has been busy putting together the album "Up All Night", but he still spend time writing new material and getting ready for future albums that he plans to release.
